Does GeckoPro replace Interactive Brokers?

No. IBKR is your broker. GeckoPro is your monitoring layer. You keep trading through IBKR exactly as you do now. GeckoPro watches your holdings and tells you when something changes, in plain English.

How does GeckoPro connect to my IBKR account?

Through IBKR's Flex Query service, a read-only reporting feature built into your IBKR account. You create a Flex Query once in IBKR Client Portal, then link it to GeckoPro with a token and query ID. You never share your IBKR username or password, and the connection cannot place trades or move money.

Can GeckoPro place trades in my IBKR account?

No. The Flex Query connection is read-only by design. GeckoPro can see your trade history and holdings but cannot place, modify or cancel orders, and cannot move funds. Monitoring only.

Does GeckoPro cover my ASX holdings in IBKR?

Yes. GeckoPro monitors NYSE, NASDAQ and ASX listed stocks. If you hold a mix of US and Australian shares through IBKR, both sides of your portfolio are covered, with signals checked every 5 minutes during each market's hours.
